#### **Ingredients:**


* 2 tbsp moong dal (yellow split dal)

* 2 tbsp rice (preferably parboiled or broken rice)

* A pinch of jeera (optional)

* A small pinch of turmeric (optional)

* Ghee (optional, for mixing while feeding)

#### **Steps to Make Premix Powder:**


1. **Dry roast** the rice and moong dal separately on low flame until aromatic (do not brown).

2. Cool completely and grind into a fine powder (or slightly coarse, as per your baby’s comfort).

3. Mix jeera and turmeric if using.

4. Store in a clean, airtight container (glass jar or food-safe zip pouch).

### 🔥 **To Prepare While Traveling:**


You’ll need:


* Hot water (carry a thermos)

* A small bowl and spoon

* Optional: a bit of ghee


**Method:**


1. Take 2 tbsp of the premix.

2. Add ½ cup hot water (adjust for consistency).

3. Stir well and close the lid. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.

4. Add a drop of ghee if needed and mix well before feeding.
